Church Boards-

Session: The work of the 15 member Session is divided among the very active divisions, each guided by ruling elders and volunteer committees from the general membership.

Deacons: The deacons share many responsibilities. They administer communion at worship services, supervise the ushers, and help those in need in the congregation and community.

Trustees: This group of 9 members focuses on maintaining the physical property of the church (building and grounds), and oversees proper utilization and investment of financial funds.

Adult Programs:

Margaret Greene Association: These active church women are grouped in "circles" for Bible study, mission study, and a number of important service projects.

Couples Club: This social group has enjoyed 48 years of fellowship, including banquets, suppers, dances, entertainment, and travel. The club frequently contributes to Church Projects.

All-Church Fellowship welcomes all members, guests, visitors, and friends to quarterly activities of the congregation.  In the years 199-2000, we have joined together for a Progressive Dinner, attended the Cranford Dramatic Club, joined in a church picnic and shared in an evening of caroling to those who are home-bound or in nursing homes.  The All-Church Fellowship is a great way to get to know other people in the church and enjoy Christian Fellowship.

Children and Youth Activities:

Church School: This is a beehive of activity on Sunday mornings as the young ones come and go. Greeting the Children and instructing them in Bible stories, and instilling the precepts of Christian behavior are a staff of long-dedicated adults.

Helen K. Baldwin Nursery School: This happy and successful activity has served the church and community for over 38 years. Accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, the school has approximately 130 children, ages 2 1/2- 5 years. A well structured program enriches social experience and stimulates learning interests. Director of the Nursery School is Karen Dermody.

Primetime: This important function provides before and after-school care for community children in grades K to 6. Most children are from families where both parents are working or children of single parents. Picked up at schools by a transportation service, the children spend time together until their parents come for them. Primetime's kindergarten is licensed by the NJ division of Youth and Family Services. The current enrollment in Primetime is 140. The very effective director of Primetime activity is Karin Burk.

Youth Fellowship: (middle school-senior high) The energy of youth is well directed toward a balanced program covering five areas of activities: Fun, Fellowship, Mission, Service, and Study. Included are such events as bowling, skiing, games, field trips, nursing home visitations, CROP walk, and study of topical or Biblical issues.
